HAMILTONJET WATERJETS

OUR WATERJET FEATURE ADVANTAGES OVER CONVENTIONAL PROPULSION

MANEOUVRABILITY

The HamiltonJet split duct reverse bucket design delivers excellent vessel manoeuvrability, offering precise steering control at all speeds.

Our “Zero Speed” steering effect provides 360° thrusting ability for docking and holding stationary, including sideways movement with multiple jet installations.

The HamiltonJet waterjet has a high efficiency astern thrust with “power-braking” ability at speed

02

EFFICIENCY

Propulsive coefficients as good or higher than the best propeller systems achievable at medium to high planing speeds.

Flexibility when using multiple waterjets may allow operators to continue to operate efficiently on fewer drives.

SHALLOW WATER & SAFE OPERATION

The HamiltonJet intake is flush with hull bottom to allow access to shallow water areas and beach landings with no risk of damage to the propulsion drive.

The absence of underwater appendages reduces hull resistance through the water and makes it ultimately safer around people in the water and marine life.

04

RELIABILITY

HamiltonJet’s class leading waterjets have fewer moving parts and most major components inboard, minimizing the chance accidental damage and increasing the life of components.

05

MAXIMUM ENGINE LIFE

The waterjet unit impeller is finely matched to engine power and the power absorption is the same regardless of boat speed. With this matching there is no possibility of engine overload under any conditions

06

CONTROLS

HamiltonJet manufactures and supplies hydraulic and electronic control components with all the waterjet models. This ensures full reliability in the controls communication system between waterjet and vessel control.
